From Dewey...

Hello Everyone. Dewey is my name. Some of you already know my story.  It started several weeks ago when my mommy noticed I was not being myself and my eyes looked kind of cloudy and I started to bump into things. She was very concerned. So she kept a very close eye on me and within 72 hours I went completely blind and would not eat at all. The vet thought someone might have poisoned me but after 3 days of tests and fluids and other good medicines my doc said he thought it was diabetes and that I need to be in the hospital for further testing to be 100% sure of what was wrong with me. I was very sick and some things in me called ketones that were very high and dangerous. Everyone was really worried that I would not make it very long if my mommy could not find a way to get some help I would need. So my mommy went searching and low and behold she found all these wonderful humans and other furry friends here at IMOM that helped me get the help I needed to get better and get home to my mommy. They have diagnosed me with diabetes. My mommy has not got a job yet but she is looking very hard. So until she finds a job she needs some help with my medicines, supplies and the check ups I will need. If you could please help us until my mommy can find a job we would be so grateful. I am truly her best friend and she would be very lonely with out me. We would greatly appreciate any help we can get. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
