This is Pippin, she will be 7 mos. old on Oct. 1st. I adopted her last July after I lost my beloved Taffy. She was dropped off in the night drop at the Animal Shelter at approximately 3 months of age. She was at the shelter for a month before she was ready to go, because she became sick. She is mostly, an Applehead chihuahua (hence the name), and Terrier. Which is believed to be Yorkie. They call the mix "Chorkie's". She was 1.7 lbs when I brought her home. She's now about 3 1/2. I went to the shelter just to look. I had my eye on another Chi/mix puppy in the same pen as her, and a 1yr. old Chi/mix who had just come in. I finally decided on a puppy. I had eliminated her at first because I could see by her coat that she had Terrier in her. But then I started comparing her to the other pup, which I think was a Chi/Doxie mix. She had smaller feet and legs, and would probably stay small. She was so much smaller than all the other puppies, that they just knocked her around! So I decided to try her. I've only had her a few months, so the relationship is still forming. Her favorite place is my lap, no matter where I am sitting (yes, there too!) She's very friendly to humans and dogs alike, so I have to be careful with her. She's a smart little thing, with endless energy!
