This is my mischievous Jake! Jake was rescued by a lady named Jody (Animal House
Rescue). Jody saw a sign that said free puppy which made her suspicious, so she
stopped. It was a breeder who did not sell this 4 1/2 month old German Shepherd
puppy. He was crated, very skinny, and in his own filth. Needless to say, she
took him. I got him at 5 months old still very skinny (28 pounds), very shy, and
sweet. Jake is 18 months old now and weighs 77 pounds and still a little shy,
but becoming very social. He loves to play with our other shepherd and chase
squirrels. He just loves life. Also he's very spoiled. Jake has brought so much
joy to us. You can say you rescue a dog, but they rescue you. Jake will tell you
that anytime.
