One day I received a phone call from a woman in Gas City, In about a little dog
that had been chained up in her neighbors yard for 3 years. The caretakers had
gone camping for the weekend and left him chained up with no food or water and
his cable was all tangled up in some junk in the yard. We got him food and water
and loved on him awhile. When they came home we went there and spoke to her and
offered her $5.00 for him ... she said sure, go ahead and take him.
We took him in and I gave
him a good bath then to the vet where he was tested for heart worm and
parasites, thank God he was negative - then he was vaccinated and neutered.
I put him on pet finder
and was contacted by a woman in Michigan who was looking for little dog to
travel with her Husband who is a truck driver. So we sent the application and
all was very well with their 2 Labradors and so the little guy had found his
forever home.
Scrappy LOVES riding in the truck with his Dad and he gets so excited when he
comes home eager to tell his travel tales with his brothers.
Way to go Scrappy !!
