Meet our sweet little Sunshine. She was born and then left to die. Nobody knows
what happened to her Mother. She was brought to us at the Purrs & Puppy Breath
Nursery, Inc. and we worked feverishly to save her life. There were many
hardships along the way and there were times when we didn't know if Sunshine
would survive the night or not. But, she did. She grew and thrived and
ultimately got spayed and vaccinated and found a loving and permanent home.
Sunshine is just one of
hundreds of babies we've rescued in the past 5 years. ALL of our babies come to
us in need of specialized care and we pride ourselves with our ability to save
as many as we do. We average over 100 infant animals saved each year. Our motto
is: "We pick up where nature left off". Our babies are Home Grown and we cannot
imagine NOT doing this type of rescue. But, what we've discovered is that we
cannot do this type of rescue without the support of others. Vet Bills average
$500 a month and yet we don't turn any infant animals away ever. We just keep
going. We know that God will see us through and He will help us to continue to
help the animals that need us.
