These girls are special because they came to me and with a lot of TLC and time,
they have blossomed into the most incredible companions for my family. Sparkles
is deaf and Saffron came from a puppy mill breeder. It took me six months to
get Saffron to come out of the bedroom and be part of the family. Sparkles was
my first foster ten years ago and she spurred me to learn about helping deaf
dogs and helping them by teaching them sign language. Both these girls have
taught me so many lessons that I have used to help many many rescue dogs.
