Marley's Pit Stop

Casper was named the "no hope staffie" by the volunteers at the South Central
Shelter. To everyone at the shelter, Casper represented all of the pit bulls
who had been mistreated, unloved and abused before being discarded. Marley's
Pit Stop stepped forward to give Casper, "the no hope staffie" a chance at
life. It's been a long road towards rehabilitating Casper mentally and now just
when he was making great strides, tragedy struck; Casper required emergency
surgery to remove an obstruction in his intestine only to be rushed back to the
hospital the same night for a second more complicated and even costlier
surgery. Today, Casper is doing much better. He's still looking for his
forever home and we are all encouraged by his indomitable spirit. He's an
incredible dog who will put a smile on anyone's face who meets him. We are
happy to report the former "no hope staffie" is now full of hope!
Casper's plea came in one day from a volunteer who had named him the "no hope
staffie". The plea went on to say how Casper represented all of the pit bulls
in los angeles who were discarded and would never have a chance at knowing what
it was like to be loved and cared for. The owner of Marley's Pit Stop decided
to prove everyone wrong and rescued Casper form the South Central Shelter on his
last day. It's been a long road.
