Meet Fox Mulder Rich. Yes,
Fox Mulder - hey, I got him in 2000 and that was a "big year" for X-File fans!
What can I say. He's my pride and joy and the love of my life. Part Eskie, part
Pommie, he's a 22 lb bundle of compassion and loyal love. Fox has carried me
through various trials and tribulations, and elations and joys. He keeps me sane
and focused in this random world.
I want to comment that
Fox's most "famous" picture is not the one submitted for this contest; I chose
the contest image because it captured his "incredible lightness of being", you
might say. The other picture many have already seen, him sittin' in a car with
his patriotic bandana on. This picture went up to volunteers at Ground Zero for
moral support :-) Mommy and Fox had to stay down in Florida to hold down the
fort while the family volunteered for months. Later he accompanied Mommy on a
road trip to New York and we visited Ground Zero on the one-year anniversary of
the incident. Fox was already hep to what had occurred in "the city with the big
owies" and was sober - almost somber - but brought smiles to the firemen, cops
and folks at the Site. He even got to meet a rescue dog and believe it or not,
got quite upset when someone mistook *him* the the same (because of his bandana)
and started praising him for his good work at The Site. I had to clarify what he
was trying to tell them. (I'm a Pet Communicator so I knew his exact concept he
was transmitting to them while all they saw was out-of-the-blue barking when
they gave him an Atta Boy in front of the other, actual, rescue dog.)
Anywho, as we all know, our bay-bees ARE The Best and they ARE unconditional and
forgiving love - they're our companions, our nurses, our children, the voice of
our conscience and the lights of our lives. This is Fox Mulder to me.
