Bandits Amercian Eskimo Dog Rescue

The Permanent Foster
Honey Bear began life as a happy-go-lucky pup with all the charm and innocence
of any American Eskimo Dog. No one knows how he became a stray before he was
fully grown but he found his way to safety at a local shelter. Being an
extremely lucky guy he eventually found his way to a breed specific rescue group
and was placed in a home.
Not every home is ready for a dog. Not every home knows how to train and care
for a dog. Honey Bear's home believed in punishment and hitting. They let
children tease him. He became a biter and was returned to rescue.
The Honey Bear that came back was thin, wild, nervous and uncontrollable. Could
this dog be saved? Through the generosity of volunteers he was re-trained but
never again would trust strangers, children or anyone with a stick.
Honey Bear now has a wide circle of both human and dog friends and helps his
foster Mom with the other Eskie fosters. He will never be adoptable but he is
safe and happy again...and very much loved.
