Big Boy is originally from
South Carolina, and down there, they have a law that if any pit bull has to be
removed from their home, they will be euthanised. This is because they think pit
bulls can be rehabilitated. He I was found in the home of someone who kept him
chained to a fence in a very small area. He was in bad shape when they found
him. The rescue group down their appealed to the court on his behalf because he
was such a sweet boy. Together, the rescuers and Big Boy showed the court how
sweet he was, and so in a decision that set legal precedent in South Carolina,
he was granted a reprieve, but only if a suitable shelter could be found to take
him in. Well, they found Angels of Assisi and the judge granted him leave to go
there. He's really a big lovable baby who loves to crawl into your lap and give
big wet kisses. He eagerly awaits that special someone.
