 Hello.
My name is Nikko. I used to have a home with 7 other dogs, but one day this
white truck pulled up to our house and our human called us all out and one by
one put us in the cages the truck had. Then we left our home and went to the
animal shelter. I was so scared. Luckily I was put into a cage with one of my
friends, but the others weren't with us. I never saw them again. I had heard one
of the humans at the shelter talking and looking over at my friend and me and
saying that our time was running out. We were going to have to go to sleep if no
one would take us. Then the day that we were supposed to be taken to the sleep
room, they came for us, but instead of going to the sleep room, they took us to
the front where my Foster Mom was waiting to take us to her house. Now I am
feeling much less scared and would like to have a home of my own, where I can be
the KING of the house.
