Seal Beach Animal Care Center

In the Spring of 2005, a
ragged cardboard box full of ten very sick kittens, two separate litters, was
dropped off at the Seal Beach Animal Care Center in Seal Beach, CA. I was
fostering for that shelter at the time and was given three of the kittens, with
a fourth joining the group a week later when she was released from the hospital.
I did not plan to keep her but do to complications from the eye and respiratory
infections she had upon intake I decided to do so, thinking she might need
expensive long-term medical care and might not be healthy. Over 3 1/2 years
later, she is relatively healthy though and very happy; running around the house
with her tail always up and loves to play fetch.
