Pugs N Pals

Last December I noticed my
neighbor taking her 2 cats somewhere in a crate. I asked if she was going out
of town - I assumed she was boarding them. She then told me that she was taking
them back to the pound because her son has "allergies" and she is tired of them
and they were too much work. I was stunned because I thought she loved the
cats. These are 2 young, beautiful cats. It was a spur of the moment decision -
I said "I'll take them". I knew I could not let them go back to the pound. I
thought that I could foster them and either find them homes or contact a cat
rescue. I already had one disabled pug and 2 elderly cats. I sure did not need
any more. I did not expect to fall hopelessly in love with them. The black
cat, Midnight - is disabled. His head is twisted to the side. The neighbor
told me that he had a stroke but she did not have any vet records. He can only
see out of one eye and is very unbalanced. He would have been euthanized
immediately at the pound. I thank God every day that I have these 2 cats and
that they are safe and have soft beds and 2 loving pug siblings and 2 grouchy
old cat siblings.
