Diagnosis: Metal pieces in stomach and intestines

Low end of estimate: $750

LuvBug Grant: -$500

Needed for low end of estimate: $250

4% of $250 for IMOM operating expenses: $10

Fundraising goal: $260

Neutered: No

Caseworker: Kris

Fund Update - We have $60 in donations so far and need $200 more

Bumper is a young unaltered Lab/Rottweiler mix who has eaten 22 pieces of metal. Emergency surgery needed to happen to save Bumper’s life and remove all 22 pieces of metal from his stomach and intestines. Bumper will also be neutered during surgery.

We were able to pledge the amount to the veterinarian and Bumper is having surgery tonight. This is all made possible by the generosity and support of our donors.

The LuvBug Grant has a limit of $500 due to the urgency and complexity of the surgery needed to save Bumper’s life we pledged higher than our normal amount. We are going to raise the $250 difference to ensure that the next pet with a life threatening emergency can be helped.

If you can make a donation of any size please go to the below link and mark your donation “Bumper Luvbug”

Thanks angels for donating to help us cover the cost of Bumper's emergency surgery tonight. His wonderful vet was willing to stay late to make sure Bumper could have surgery immediately.

Due to the size of the pledge we made, we are hoping you can help us cover the cost of Bumper's treatment, so we can help the next pet in need who comes to us when there is no time to raise funds for treatment. Any amount you can donate will be sincerely appreciated.

Thank you again, as always, for your love and concern.

Bumper was in surgery until 11:30 p.m. last night, and is doing very well this morning. The vet said he was up eating food this morning and the surgery went better than expected.

Helping Bumper and animals in emergency situations is all made possible by the generosity and support of our donors.

Emergencies like these can happen anytime. Help keep the partnership and cooperative spirit between vets and IMOM alive, so they can respond. Consider a donation to the general fund or the Bumper Lovebug fund.

Happy Thanksgiving!
