Cujo Smith - REOPENED for fund raising

HI

I would suggest you email your caseworker at IMOM and let her know that Cujo needs more help. Maybe they can help.

Good luck and hang in there Cujo

Kathy

Yes, please keep in touch with your caseworker. If you and vet agree that more surgery will help your baby, we're here ready to ramp up the fundraising.

Please give your boy -- both your boys -- hugs from us.

One thing that we don't here at IMOM is give up before we have to...

WHAT is the nature of this second surgery? Is it a minor or major issue?

Does the vet feel that Cujo is up to this surgery, and if so, WHAT IS THE COST?

You must conctact your caseworker at

gf@imom.org

she might not be checking in right now as there are other PINs up for fund raising...IMOM and Dawn need to know the situation...AND if you have your IMOM paperwork I can send over links for you to apply to other groups as soon as you get home from work.....

sending prayers right now for a starter...

Oh do not give up! No no no! Never give up unless there is absolutely no hope left! Keep in touch with your caseworker and give her a status report. The IMOM Angels will kick this into high gear and start fundraising and I will be the first on board to donate! Or at least I will try! :) Think positive! I am and so are all of us here! Cujo just needs a little extra attention and that's okay. Many prayers, hugs and doggy kisses sent! Hope and Her Angels here and beyond!

Cujo's Mom - my boy Merlin had a perforated bowel and peritonitis. He had to have some pretty major surgeries, but he pulled through just fine. He was older than Cujo, and had some other health concerns as well. My hub had a similar thing, after they did an abdominal surgery, they had to go in a second time because of fluid build up. The fluid build up is painful, and Cujo will feel so much better if that is relieved. And dogs really are quick and amazing healers. Talk to your vet, and to your IMOM caseworker. And give Cujo a hug for me. Vicky M

We need to raise $2599 for additional surgery for Cujo.

Angels – I have news and it’s not the best.

I just spoke to Cujo’s vet. Cujo has developed complications and they think he has developed peritonitis and bacteria may be present. They can manage Cujo in ICU for a few days longer (they are using in house funds to do this) and hope this resolves itself, but that is not a very promising option (the vet used the words ‘slim chance’), or they can perform surgery and then keep Cujo hospitalized for at least 3 more days. They have the in house funds to pay for hospitalization, but if Cujo is to get surgery we need to raise $2599. The vet says surgery needs to happen by tomorrow at 3PM for the best outcome for Cujo, but they will manage him until we can raise the funds or it is more ethical to put him to sleep.

I’ve seen a lot of incredible “MAGIC” here at IMOM. Is this possible. I just can’t give up on Cujo. We have fought hard for him side by side with his mom. Are you with me? Can we do this? Please, Angels – let’s not quit on Cujo.

If you can donate anything at all please go to http://tinyurl.com/79og6jd to make a donation – note for Cujo Smith.

If you prefer, you may also make a direct donation via PayPal by specifying paypal@imom.org as the recipient. Don't forget to indicate Cujo’s name when making your donation.

I will be here hoping for some special “MAGIC” that we can get this done.

Thank you for all of you here with us fighting for Cujo.

Angels, Cujo is fighting for his life and now we have to fight for his life as well! He is a darling and has been through so much this past week, but he is continuing to hang in there because he loves his "Mom" and his little "skin" brother, Landon. Landon would be heartbroken not to have Cujo around and has even been to the vet to visit with Cujo!

I know this is asking a lot of you, especially when we have other PIN kids here as well, but we have gone this far with Cujo, we just can't give up now! I prefer his pet name, "Cujums", because I know he's just a big ol' mush ball, so let's get him well!! There is a matching challenge on right now and your money will double!

We HAVE to have Cujo into surgery by 3:00PM tomorrow, and I know we can do this! Please, please, please contact each of your "friends" on Facebook and Twitter and ask each of them to donate just a DOLLAR and we could have Cujo's money raised quick as anything!!

Thanks to all the IMOM Angels out there, whom I know will get Cujo through this crisis!

I will take $75.00 of that! Let's fly like the Angels! Over the biggest mountain! If the vet thinks Cujo can make it through by having another surgery, give him that chance! This is just another obtainable obstacle! Fly, fly Angels! Cujo needs us! Hope and Her Angels Here and Beyond!!!!

Then, after you did those two...here are two more places to try

Animal Friends Rescue.org

http://www.animalfri...assistance.html

one more group

Shakespeare Foundation

http://www.shakespea...f/who-qualifies

I am just thinking out loud right now, racking my brain to see where we can find funding...do you have a friend, co-worker or relative that might be able to apply for Care Credit and let you make the minimum payment to start out and then with perhaps your income tax return pay off that balance? It doesn't have to be the whole amount...$500.00, $750.00, $1,000.00.....whatever you think you can handle paying back.....also...what about early birthday presents or Christmas presents? Wouldn't that be a grand gift??

What better gift than being able to bring Cujo home well again.....

Ok everyone, Cujo is in dire need of urgent help. IMOM has been in contact with Cujo's vet today. He really needs this surgery by tomorrow. They can do it up tomorrow if we get the funds raised by 3PM. We need to raise this money somehow, quick.

This is going to be one of those cases where we need every penny we can round up. $5.00 here and $5.00 there is the only thing that is going to help get Cujo to the goal.

To Donate: http://tinyurl.com/79og6jd and mark your donation for Cujo.

Remember: You may also make a direct donation via PayPal by specifying paypal@imom.org as the recipient. Don't forget to indicate for Cujo when making your donation.

PLEASE share and cross post if you can - on Facebook, Twitter, or the link to this forum http://bit.ly/17A2CJP

Cujo needs all the support he can get.
