Storm Santanelli, 3 yr old kitty

4 posts in this topic

Storm is a 3 yr old neutered kitty who accidentally slipped out of his house and came home with a broken jaw. Storm's owner needed help with this desperate situation and we were told by the vet he only had 24-36 hrs.

Because of our super wonderful IMOM Angels we were able to act quickly this afternoon and pledge $400 for Storm's diagnostics, pain med, and feeding tube. We hope to learn tomorrow what further treatment will be necessary to help this nice boy.

Thank you IMOM donors!! :aktion033:

Just wondering if we've heard any more on Storm's status? Thank you IMOM for helping this kitty.

The news on Storm is so good, Mom Elizabeth has started a new thread in "happy endings" to report on the success.

We are glad to hear the good news.

We're so glad to hear this good news!

"My cat, Storm, had broken his jaw. I wasn't sure how. The doctors think that he might have jumped out of a tree and landed on his chin. Guess they don't always land on their feet. I was in no positiion financially to handle the expenses of the surgery to place a wire in his jaw. Thanks to all the gracious donors of IMOM, he had his surgery yesterday and is doing great today. He ate his first full meal on his own this morning since it happened a few days ago! Thanks again to everyone at IMOM!!!!!!

Elizabeth Santanelli"
