  1. Cammie-Cat is flying free

Precious Cammie-Cat told us she was ready to leave this morning. She is free of pain and reunited with her buddies Halo and Pepper. Cammie was an amazing Torti girl. She outlived the vet's predictions by over 3 years. http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?74256-Gotcha http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?190233-Happy-Birthday-Cammie http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?185304-Renavast-Kidney-health-for-dogs-and-cats http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?181808-Multi-tasking-Cammie http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?163265-Reading-with-a-Pet-Communicator http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?141756-Cammie-workin-on-her-tan http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?57283-One-White-Whisker http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?43900-Torti-tude-thy-name-is-Cammie
  2. Pepper Pea Pod Pie

Precious Pepper left us today. We found her in a sunny spot out in the cat pen. Her malformed heart finally gave out on her. The vet said she would only live a year or 2. She delighted in proving him wrong. We will miss this itty-bitty kitty that ruled with a velvet paw. She was the boss of us. http://theanimalrescuesite.greatergood.com/clickToGive/ars/story/pepper-braveheart238
  3. Pepper Pea Pod Pie

Cindy ~ Yes, know she's watching over us. I "saw" her the other day, I think. A white blur went by my leg and I looked over to see which cat it was and there was no one there. I figure it was her running around at full speed again. Lord I miss her crabby voice. Beo*tching about everything. I'd give anything to hear it again. I used to complain to her about all the damage she had done to the woodwork. Never could break her of her habit of clawing certain moulding in the house. Now, I don't want to replace it because it brings have memories of Pepper Braveheart.
  4. Halo 2002-2010

Bobcat just called to let me know that he took Halo to the vet at 10:30 this morning and had her put to sleep. http://www.imom.org/...?showtopic=6609 He can't really talk about it right now, but I can only hope her passing was peaceful.
  5. Halo 2002-2010

Happy 6th Bridge Day We miss you so but are so glad your sick, tired body no longer holds you back.
  6. Thank you, Wonderful IMOM Angel! Happy, happy tears. You have given us all a wonderful gift.
  7. Cindy ~ You're right! It is "the more you toot". I knew there was something "off" but couldn't remember the words. We're doing good here. Bobcat is recovering from pacemaker replacement. That should keep him going for a few more years.
  8. Oh dear. Gonna be on doggy door patrol tonight? "Beans, beans, delicious fruit. The more you eat, the more you poop."
  9. Cindy ~ Love the microwave bags. We have little pillows stuffed with buckwheat that we use in the winter. Nuke them for a few minutes and put them under the sheets. Keep your toes toasty most of the night So sad that IMOM is going into retirement. I hope that we don't lose touch with each other. Maybe the message forum -- or parts of it -- will let us continue to get updates. We'll just feel our way through this transition.
  10. Karen ~ They all look really healthy. You are doing a great job with your colony. Have you had any signs of ringworm yet? I got it on my knee when I was a kid in Taiwan. I don't remember us taking any of the cats to the vet -- I'm not even sure they had vets. :( Can't remember what my Mom used on my knee. I remember it itched a lot but healed pretty quickly.
  11. Karen ~ Thanks so much for the updates. We love it when a PIN Family stays around IMOM and gives us updates from time-to-time. It's sad when PINs disappear after funds are raised. We've fallen in love with the babies and wonder how they are. I guess that's life but your updates are very welcome and appreciated. Keep up the good work and happy trapping.
  12. Squeeealing with delight at the sight of dancing bananas. IMOM Angels have come through again. I hope the LBKs and all the others can be treated soon.
  13. WooooooHooooooooooooo! Come on Betsy, send that matching challenge $$ in. We want to see dancing bananas ASAP. IMOM Angels, you always come through. Miracles happen on IMOM every day.
  14. PUSH....PUSH....PUSH.....CROSS-POST EVERYWHERE. Let's get those funds before Friday!! The vet is standing by ready to go. Don't let poor Peanuts and her family go through the whole weekend in unnecessary pain.
  15. Capone Needs Surgery for Tumors

Woo Hoo! Wiggle Butts and Booty Shakes are appropriate for Capone's good news. We're hoping the good news keeps coming.
  16. Capone Needs Surgery for Tumors

Fingers, paws and whiskers crossed up here on the Arctic Ocean. Thanks for the update.
  17. Capone Needs Surgery for Tumors

Shawna ~ In case you haven't been told yet, Dancing Bananas are in honor of a kitty named Teddie who loved her catnip banana more than life herself. Her purrrrson (Kim) is an honored member of IMOM and us "old timers" loved Miss Teddie very much. Teddie left us in 2006 but her legacy of dancing bananas lives on. http://www.imom.org/community/index.php?/profile/27-kim/
  18. Capone Needs Surgery for Tumors

  21. Capone Needs Surgery for Tumors

Alrighty IMOM Angel Army ~ It is time! I will match the next $100 that comes in. Turn your $1 into $2. Who'll be the first to take my challenge?
  22. Awww Isley -- hurting from one end (ears) to the other (urine). :( I hope the white coats can have you and your Daddy feeling much better real soon. Sorry, we've got kitties here too. They like to hiss all the time. Please don't take it personally. I'm sure if the kitties got to know you, they wouldn't be so afraid.
  23. Family !

Welcome Peggy and family. I hope you will follow Dawn's advice so that the IMOM volunteers can get you headed in the right direction. What is your kitty's name?
  24. Isley ~ Thank you for the update. Keep taking good care of your Daddy.
  25. Betsy ~ I've missed seeing the "ole" gang around here. Thank you so much for the Matching Challenge. Cross posting every where I can think of to help get the word out. Hope everyone is safe out of the weather. We're expecting snow here in Anchorage this week. But, no where near what the East Coast is getting. Stay warm and safe!
